To control pollution in Delhi-NCR, GRAP will be implemented from October 1. GRAP means Graded Response Action Plan under which the government will ban polluting activities and action will be taken against those doing such activities.

For the past many years, it has been seen that the climate of Delhi-NCR gets polluted due to changes in the weather. A black balloon of pollution starts appearing in the sky, in view of which GRAP was formed in Delhi-NCR. There are 4 phases in this GRAP, which will be implemented one by one depending on the situation.

Officials have been assigned responsibilities to ensure compliance with GRAP rules in Gurugram district. According to Gurugram Deputy Commissioner, GRAP will be implemented in 4 phases and different types of restrictions will be applicable in these.

GRAPE will be implemented on the basis of air quality. As air quality levels increase, restrictions will also increase.

According to the orders, if the air quality index is between 201 to 300, then the first phase of GRAP will be implemented. In this phase, the instructions issued for construction and demolition activities will have to be followed. Watch the video for more information.....
