Kejriwal's Wife Sunita Reacts Strongly to His Arrest, Labels it as Dictatorship

Since Independence

In the liquor policy scam, accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has now been taken to the CBI remand room after ED. Following the CM's arrest by the CBI, his wife Sunita Kejriwal has expressed outrage.

She has described Kejriwal's arrest as a dictatorship. Sunita Kejriwal, tweeting on her social media handle X, said, 'So far, we have always prayed that God gives everyone wisdom. But now the prayer will be for the destruction of dictatorship.'

Earlier, Sunita had expressed objection to Kejriwal's arrest in another post. She wrote, 'On June 20, Arvind Kejriwal was granted bail. Immediately, the ED imposed a stay. The next day, the CBI made him an accused. And today, he has been arrested. The entire system is trying to ensure that the person doesn't get out of jail. This is not the law. This is a dictatorship, this is an emergency.'

Delhi Chief Minister to Face CBI Questioning

The Delhi Chief Minister will face a barrage of questions till June 29 as the CBI team will question him in connection with the liquor policy scam. So far, Kejriwal has been evading questions related to the liquor policy scam.

In court, the CBI stated that they want to question Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia face-to-face.

Court Allows Home Food and Medicine Access

Meanwhile, the CBI claimed that Kejriwal blamed Manish Sisodia for everything, but Kejriwal said in court that he had found Sisodia innocent. He has not accused Sisodia of any kind in this case.

The court, after the argument of Kejriwal's lawyer, has given permission for home food and necessary medicines. At the same time, wife Sunita Kejriwal and his lawyer have been given time for 30-30 minutes every day.
