Political activities have intensified in Delhi. Ahead of the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha elections, Raghav Chadha visited CM Kejriwal's residence on Saturday, May 18.
Raghav Chadha had gone abroad for treatment following the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections and has now returned.
Raghav Chadha was battling a severe eye disease. Delhi government minister Saurabh Bhardwaj had informed some time ago that Raghav Chadha's eye treatment was being conducted in the UK.
He mentioned that Raghav's condition was serious and that if timely treatment was not provided, he could have lost his vision. Consequently, his recovery might take some time.
Saurabh Bhardwaj also said that Raghav Chadha would soon recover and return to participate in election activities amid the Lok Sabha elections.
Notably, the Lok Sabha elections in Delhi are scheduled for the sixth phase on May 25. Although Raghav Chadha had been abroad since the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections, he has now returned just before the voting day.
It is expected that Raghav Chadha will now engage in election campaigning ahead of the May 25 voting. His return is likely to strengthen the Aam Aadmi Party's position across all seven seats in Delhi.
Raghav Chadha is considered one of the Aam Aadmi Party's leaders known for his sharp criticisms against the BJP.
Recognizing his fiery stance, the Aam Aadmi Party had trusted Raghav Chadha and sent him to the Rajya Sabha.
