Before Diwali, residents of Delhi-NCR received a significant gift from nature as overnight sudden rainfall graced several areas in Delhi and Noida.

This sudden change in weather resulted in a drop in temperatures and a substantial improvement in air quality. The Air Quality Index (AQI) in many parts of Delhi plummeted from 400 to a much healthier 100.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) reported rainfall in areas like Bawana, Kanjhawala, Mundaka, Jafarabad, Najafgarh, Noida, and Greater Noida.

IMD further stated that some areas in the National Capital Region (NCR), including Bahadurgarh, Gurugram, and Manesar, experienced rainfall.

How will be the weather of Delhi today?

The weather department predicted that Delhi would continue to experience cloudy skies on Friday, with a possibility of light rain. As of Thursday night, Delhi recorded an average AQI of 437, falling under the "severe" category.

AAP Leader Somnath Bharti Calls it a Gift

AAP leader Somnath Bharti remarked that it is raining in Delhi, and this is not artificial rain but a gift from nature. He stated that God is always with Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party.
