Restrictions Imposed in many Parts of the World due to Omicron

A curfew will remain in Haryana from 11 pm to 5 am. The orders will come into effect from Saturday night.

Omicron has spread around the world. In big countries like America, Britain, this infection is wreaking havoc. Even the experts are stunned. To avoid the new threat, countries around the world are imposing new restrictions. This has once again started affecting the airline industry. It has been revealed that around 4500 flights were canceled around the world during Christmas week.

According to flight-tracking websites, at least 2366 flights were canceled on Christmas Eve i.e., Friday. At the same time, about 9000 flights were delayed.

According to the website, 1779 flights were also closed on Christmas Day (Saturday) and 402 flights were scheduled for Sunday. In the United States, more than a quarter of flights were canceled in a week.

Shortage of employees in airlines companies

Employees of airlines companies are also getting infected by the Omicron virus and this is affecting the airline’s companies. On Friday, in the US, United Airlines and Delta Air Lines canceled about 280 flights due to the shortage of staff.

Corona infection in India

The total number of Omicron cases in the country has risen to 415. So far, most of Omicron's infections have been found in Maharashtra (108) and Delhi (79). According to Health Ministry data, 115 patients of Omicron have been cured. At the same time, 7,189 new cases of corona patients were registered in the country in the last 24 hours and 387 people died due to corona.

A curfew will remain in Haryana from 11 pm to 5 am. The orders will come into effect from Saturday night. The unnecessary movement will be prohibited. There will be no prohibition for people connected with essential services. In view of the increasing cases of Omicron, the government has extended the curfew till 5 January.

Not more than 200 people will be able to gather in public functions and programs. Chief Minister Manohar Lal gave these orders in the review meeting of Covid on Friday. According to the notification issued by Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal, Chairman, Haryana State Disaster Management Authority, the organizers will ensure the entry of people participating in public functions and programs only when both doses are engaged. Wearing of masks, a distance of two yards, and sanitization will be mandatory. Action will be taken for the violation.

The Chief Minister said that to check the growing infection of Omicron, it is necessary that people should be aware. People should pay more attention to vaccination. Everyone should get both doses.

Where necessary, necessary arrangements should be ensured. The Chief Minister said that due to the prohibition order in public places, more than one lakh people got the second dose of the anti-corona vaccine on 23rd December. The Health Department is testing 30-32 thousand people daily.

At the same time, 26 people also died due to this new Omicron variant of Corona.

Corona infection has also increased again in America amid the threat of Omicron. In many states, this infection has spread up to 90 percent.

According to reports, the average number of coronavirus cases in the US has increased by 45% to 179,000 per day in the past week. On the other hand, more than 44,000 cases were reported in New York on Friday alone.

Corona havoc in Britain too

Apart from America, the havoc of Corona has started once again in Britain as well. According to government data, 122,186 new infections were reported across the country on Friday.
