Udupi Horror: 3 Muslim Women Videotaped Girls in College Washroom, Videos Send to Communal Groups

Udupi Horror: A sensational case has come to light from Udupi in Karnataka. In Udupi, the matter of making objectionable photographs of hundreds of girls by installing hidden cameras in the washroom and sharing them on social media has been in the headlines.

The incident took place on Wednesday, July 19, at a private paramedical college in Ambalpadi, Udupi. According to reports, the three girls had fitted mobile cameras inside the washroom.

They are accused of making videos of other girls hiding in the washroom and making them viral. However, seeing the matter increasing, the college administration has suspended all the three girls.

The police have started investigating this matter. Now this incident has heated up politics from Karnataka to Delhi.

According to reports, these three girls had fitted mobile cameras inside the washroom. The three girls who have been suspended in this case are Muslims.

Alimatul Shafa, Shabanaz and Alia are accused of making a video of a girl studying with them taking a bath. Also sent it to his friends and Communal Group through WhatsApp.

Udupi Horror: Incident similar to Ajmer 1992 Sex Scandal

Rashmi Samanta, a social activist who used social media platform had raised her concerns in a series of tweets, referencing a news story to raise awareness and prevent other "unsuspecting" females from falling into similar traps and enduring catastrophic results such as suicide, comparing the Udupi episode to the 1992 Ajmer incident.

Hundreds of school and college girls were blackmailed with naked images and gang-raped by males from the minority group in the Ajmer case.

Udupi Horror: College Administration Dismissed the Incident and Called it a Prank

The college administration has also come under fire for dismissing the incident as a prank and deleting the footage in front of the victim.

"They're trying to minimize the problem by calling it a prank." Making a hilarious video might be a prank. Putting a video camera in the toilet is a planned crime.

I tweeted a news item to publicize and spotlight the situation. "I felt strongly about it because I am from Udupi," Samant explained.

The All College Student Power, a right-wing student organization, has filed a police complaint accusing the college administration of attempting to minimize the incident and only suspending the accused students, despite a violation of the college's mobile phone ban and videotaping.

A case has also been registered against the 3 Muslim students who were suspended for allegedly filming a Hindu girl at a restroom in a private college in Udupi.
