Love Jihad Case: In the city of Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh, a case of suicide involving a national baseball player has come to light, allegedly connected to a situation involving "love jihad."
The police have apprehended a young man named Rajan, also known as Abdul Mansoori, from Rewa about the baseball player's suicide.
The accused, Abdul, reportedly shared a private video of the female player on social media, leading her to take her own life. Abdul is accused of blackmailing and harassing the baseball player.
It is reported that Abdul posted a video on social media, which deeply upset the baseball player. Despite repeated pleas, Abdul refused to remove the video.
As a result, the girl tragically committed suicide by hanging herself on June 5th.
The Sanjeevani Nagar police registered a case of suicide and initiated an investigation, during which the involvement of "love jihad" came to light. The family and friends of the female player informed the police about Abdul Khan's role in the incident.
According to CSP Pratishtha Rathore, the investigation revealed that the girl and Abdul had become acquainted through social media about a year ago.
They started talking and eventually, Abdul Mansoori even visited Jabalpur to meet the deceased.
After gaining her trust, Abdul secretly took personal photos and videos of the girl. However, when their relationship soured, the girl stopped communicating with Abdul Mansoori.
Angered by this, Abdul posted a video and photo of the girl in a close friend group on Instagram, blackmailing her to resume contact. This caused immense distress to the girl.
The police have discovered that Abdul, the accused, earns a living as a street vendor.
The girl's father made a shocking revelation, accusing Abdul Mansoori not only of constant harassment but also pressuring his daughter to convert to islam. When she refused, Abdul even threatened to kill her.
The girl's mother also mentioned that the family received a threatening call from an unknown number some days ago.
