MP Floods: Heavy rains in Madhya Pradesh have caused the Shipra River in Ujjain to overflow. The river's water level has risen to dangerous levels, inundating several areas of the city, including the Ramghat, a popular pilgrimage site.

Most of the temples on the Ramghat have been submerged in water. The district administration has banned pilgrims from visiting the ghats until the water level recedes.

The district administration has issued a warning to residents of low-lying areas to be prepared for flooding.
