A strange game of enmity between monkeys and dogs has come to the fore in Maharashtra. Maharashtra Police is also surprised to see such a fight between animals. According to reports, monkeys have killed more than 250 dog puppies in the Beed district of Maharashtra.
According to the reports, two months ago the dogs had pecked and killed a baby monkey. From then on, the monkeys decided to take revenge. Wherever monkeys find a dog puppy, they immediately pick it up and take it to a high place or tree and drop it down.
Two monkeys involved in 'revenge killing' of more than 250 puppies have been caught by the Forest Department. Beed Forest Officer Sachin Kand said that two monkeys involved in the killing of dogs in Beed have been caught by the team of Nagpur Forest Department. Both the monkeys are being sent to Nagpur and will be released in the nearby forest.
Monkeys and Dogs
Villagers said that there are hardly any dogs left in the village. An atmosphere of fear is being created among the villagers due to the anger of the monkeys.
The monkeys had taken away the dog of Sitaram Naible, a villager, but as soon as the dog started barking, Sitaram clashed with the monkey with sticks. During this, he fell, due to which the bone of Sitaram’s leg was broken. However, he managed to save his pet dog.
Dogs ansd Monkeys
This news has no evidence or proof, there is no information that the dogs have actually attacked or killed any infant of monkey.
Ground reports say that the monkeys take puppies on the tree or rooftop of the area but there is no confirmation that they threw the puppies from the height. Locals said that they are terrified by the monkeys and they don’t go to the rooftop of their houses and when monkeys take the puppies to the rooftop, they left them there, and because of no food and water, puppies die.
Locals also said that monkeys take puppies on the trees to take care of them, but puppies cannot survive on a tree, and when puppies try to escape, they fall from the tree and die.
According to reports, locals have contacted forest department officials to get rid of monkeys but the authorities have failed to do so.
