Maharashtra: Fire Breaks Out in Moving Oil Tanker Near Kashedi Ghat in Raigad, No Casualties Reported

Late on Saturday night, a moving oil tanker caught fire near Kashedi Ghat in Poladpur taluka, Raigad district, Maharashtra.

However, there have been no reported casualties in the incident. Upon receiving the information, the police and fire department teams quickly reached the scene and successfully extinguished the fire.

According to information from news agency ANI, due to the fire in the tanker, vehicles coming from both directions on the road were stopped about a kilometre away from the accident site, but the road has now been reopened.

The cause of the fire in the tanker is yet to be determined, as per the statement by Raigad police.
