CM Ashok Gehlot Makes a Bold Political Move: Announces Three More Districts in Rajasthan

Since Independence

In a significant political move, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has declared the creation of three more districts in the state.

During a recent gathering, Gehlot revealed that Sujangarh, Malpura, and Kuchaman would be designated as new districts.

With the addition of these three districts, Rajasthan's total count of districts will rise to 53.

This announcement, made just before the implementation of the code of conduct, is being considered important from the election point of view.

CM Gehlot Had Already Created 19 New Districts

CM Gehlot stated, 'We have proposed the formation of these three new districts to the Ram Lubhaya Committee. We will also evaluate demands from other regions.

It's worth noting that earlier this year, CM Gehlot had already created 19 new districts in Rajasthan, as part of the state budget.

Rajasthan Emerges as Third-Largest State with 53 Districts

With the addition of these new districts, Rajasthan has now become the third-largest state in India in terms of the number of districts, boasting 53 districts.

However, there is the possibility of creating more new districts and divisions before the elections, as indicated by the Chief Minister himself.
