After securing a landslide victory in the assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to announce the Chief Minister's name for Rajasthan.
A crucial meeting of the BJP legislative party is scheduled for this evening in Jaipur, where the stamp on the Chief Minister's name will be unveiled.
In attendance at the legislative party meeting will be central observers, including Rajnath Singh. While discussions about the Chief Ministerial candidate include names like Vasundhara Raje and Baba Balaknath, the party may surprise everyone by introducing a new face, similar to the decisions made in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
People are eagerly awaiting the outcome of the legislative party meeting scheduled for this evening.
Registration for legislators to attend the legislative party meeting will commence from 1:30 pm. All newly elected Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislators are required to register for the meeting, according to BJP state president and MLA Bhajan Lal Sharma.
He mentioned that all newly elected legislators must be present at the legislative party meeting. The meeting will be attended by party observers, including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Co-observer National Vice President Saroj Pandey, and National General Secretary Vinod Tawde.
State in-charge Arun Singh arrived here on Monday. Speaking to the media upon reaching the party headquarters, he stated that central observer Rajnath Singh is coming here, and both co-observers will also be present.
On being asked about the possibility of a Dalit face for the Chief Minister's position in Rajasthan, the response was, "Do not speculate; everything will be clear in front of you on Tuesday."
He mentioned that central observers are coming on Tuesday, and further details will be provided by them.
