Rajasthan: After Bhilwara Brutality, Gangrape of Schoolgirl in Dungarpur, FIR Filed Against 5 Suspects

Gangrape in Dungarpur: After the previous case of burning an innocent in a furnace in Bhilwara, now a tragic incident has come to the fore from Dungarpur.

In this gruesome incident, a school-going student was abducted and gang-raped.

She was initially assaulted in a jungle area and later confined to a secluded room where 2 of the perpetrators gang-raped her. Shockingly, the remaining 3 accomplices stood guard outside.

On Wednesday evening, around 5 PM, the victim was dropped by the culprits on Mathugamda Road in Dungarpur town and fled. She managed to contact her family through a vegetable vendor, who then informed her family.

Her family reached Dungarpur city, and together they went to the Dowda police station. A case was filed against the 5 accused, including Raju Meena, based on the victim's report.

The victim, a minor, underwent a medical examination at Damdi Hospital. The officer in charge of the Dowda police station, Hemant Chauhan stated that it's also emerging that one of the culprits was known to the victim.

Hemant Chauhan, in charge of the Dowda police station, stated that according to the victim's report, she was subjected to gang rape by 5 youths.

The incident took place as she was on her way to school, with her home being approximately one kilometre away.

The suspects, including Raju Meena, forcibly took her in a car near Pagara village and then took her to a remote area about 40 kilometres away in the Bichhiwara jungle.

There, she was subjected to sexual assault by Raju Meena and another accomplice.

Throughout this horrifying ordeal, the remaining culprits maintained surveillance outside the room.
