Explosion in Tamil Nadu Firecracker Factory Kills 4; CM Announces Compensation

A tragic incident occurred in the Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu on Saturday morning. An explosion suddenly took place at a firecracker manufacturing factory. It has been reported that four workers lost their lives in this incident, while another person was injured.

The police provided this information on Saturday. The incident is said to have occurred this morning. Following the event, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin expressed his sorrow and announced compensation for the families of the deceased.

Four Workers Killed

A senior district police officer reported that an explosion occurred at a firecracker manufacturing factory on Saturday morning. The blast resulted in the immediate death of four workers at the scene.

According to the officer, the explosion and subsequent fire were likely caused by the improper handling of chemical substances used in firecracker production.

Additionally, another person near the factory was injured. The explosion also damaged nearby buildings.

CM Has Announced Compensation

Following this tragic incident, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin expressed his condolences. He also announced compensation for the families of the deceased.

CM M.K. Stalin announced that the families of the four deceased workers would receive three lakh rupees each as compensation. The explosion occurred on the morning of June 29 in a firecracker manufacturing factory located in Banduvarpatti village, Sattur Taluka, Virudhunagar district.
