In January 2019, a First Information Report (FIR) was filed against several public servants, including the then District Magistrate, Mining Officer, and others.

People were illegally permitted to undertake unauthorized excavation of minor minerals. Additionally, permission was granted for the theft and illegal extraction of minor minerals.
