In a devastating incident on Tuesday morning i.e. July 11, a collision between a car and a bus on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway in Ghaziabad resulted in the loss of at least six lives.
The accident occurred on the lane heading from Lalkuan to Delhi, near the Crossing Republic Police Station area on NH 9.
The impact of the collision was so severe that the victim's bodies became trapped inside the car, necessitating a challenging rescue operation by the dedicated police officials.
A large crowd gathered at the scene, witnessing the aftermath of the tragic accident. Disturbingly, one of the deceased had to be extricated from the car by cutting through the wreckage using a cutter.
Subsequently, the bodies have been sent for postmortem examinations to ascertain the exact cause of death.
