Meanwhile, several features of Instagram are also not functioning. It has been more than half an hour, and Facebook and Instagram are down in many parts of the world. People are continuously complaining on X.
Meta's services were affected around 08:56 PM Indian Standard Time. Both mobile apps and web services are inaccessible. The Facebook app is also not functioning.
A statement has been issued by Meta, the parent company of Facebook. The company said, "We are aware that people are having difficulty accessing Facebook services. We are working on it."
