For Android platform, JioTV has been updated with a new feature of Dark Mode. Long before that, Jio included Dark Mode in the Jio Cinema app. Improvements have also been made to some UI in the updated Jio TV app. Shortly before the picture-in-picture (PiP) mode for Android users was also added to the Jio TV app. Earlier this year, the Mumbai based company made content and channel discovery easy for both Android and ios users in the Jio TV app.

Updated Jio TV App version 5.8.0 includes the much-awaited dark mode. To enable this, only in the Jio TV app, users have to click on the hamburger button in the top left corner and from here in the Settings option, turn on the Dark Mode. As soon as this feature is enabled, the default white background will turn gray and the black font will be transformed into white. This will give a lot of relief to the eyes.
