The dispute over assets worth 20 thousand crores between Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand has been resolved. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who came to Lucknow on a two-day visit, said after meeting CM Yogi that the cases pending for 21 years have been agreed upon. Uttar Pradesh will give Rs 205 crore to Uttarakhand.
There will be equal distribution of 5700 hectares of land and 1700 houses. Within 15 days, the officers of both states will survey it and mark the property. Uttarakhand will get Alaknanda Hotel in Haridwar. It has also been decided that Ichha Bus Stand will be the property of Uttarakhand from today itself. It has been told that the officers of both the states met and decided the formula for the agreement. After this, the CMs of both the states have agreed to this.
It is being said that in the meeting held at the CM residence, the Chief Ministers of both the states discussed the pending matters between UP and Uttarakhand. The two discussed the formula given by the officers and then agreed on the 50-50 formula.
Earlier on Wednesday, Pushkar Singh Dhami also met Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Uttar Pradesh Assembly Speaker Hriday Narayan Dixit. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday met Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and presented her a memento of Lord Kedarnath temple and a Rudraksha plant as a gift. During this, the Governor also welcomed Dhami by giving him a shawl and two books 'Lokhit Ke Mukhar Swar' and 'Woh Mujhe Always Remembered'.
