Former Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday met Governor Ram Naik in the Raj Bhavan regarding the law and order in Uttar Pradesh and handed him a memorandum. During this time, Ahmed Hassan, senior leader of SP along with Akhilesh was also present. Akhilesh expressed concern over law and order in the state during the meeting. Akhilesh Yadav had reached the Raj Bhavan for the first time after he stepped down from the post of Chief Minister.

After meeting the Governor Ram Naik in Raj Bhavan, SP President Akhilesh Yadav said that criminals in the state are roaming freely and are committing crimes. These should be reinforced. There will be no such heinous crimes with daughters in the state but such incidents are happening in the government of Bharatiya Janata Party and the government is sitting on hand with their hands. I have requested the government through the governor that strict action should be taken against criminals.

It is worth mentioning that the state's politics has been eroded after the murder of Uttar Pradesh Bar Council president in the Agra Court complex of Darvesh Yadav. In Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav has been the attacker for the state government for many days due to bad governance. Taking a statement from Uttar Pradesh in the wake of the scathing rise in Uttar Pradesh and the statement of ministers, Akhilesh Yadav had alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party was engaged in defaming Uttar Pradesh around the world.

During his interaction with reporters, Akhilesh, who arrived in Agra to pay tribute to his native village at Etta after the assassination of Deputy Bar Council Councilor Darvesh Singh, had said that the state government's attention is not on law and order. It is not known what direction the government is going in. Whenever the Chief Minister reviews the meeting with the officers, criminals make a big challenge and challenge them. Akhilesh also gave examples of some incidents that happened during the review meetings of CM.
