The effect of the system formed in the Bay of Bengal is being seen in the eastern parts of Rajasthan. During the last 24 hours in the state, there was heavy rain in the districts of Kota, Bharatpur, Jaipur and Ajmer divisions. In Baran, Karauli districts, it rained between 100 to 150 mm.

Farmers waiting to sow the Rabi crops

On the other hand, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Bundi, Bhilwara districts also recorded more than 2 inches of rain. Seeing this form of weather, it seems as if the month of Bhado is going on, not Ashwin. While the farmers waiting to sow the Rabi crops are benefited by the rainy season, there is also a loss to those farmers who have sown mustard, gram crops 4-5 days ago.

There was good rain at many places

According to the Jaipur Meteorological Department, there was good rain at many places in Ajmer, Alwar, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Bharatpur, Churu, Karauli, Dholpur last night. More than 6 inches (158MM) of rain fell in Kishanganj of Baran district. Apart from this, there was heavy rain in Sapotra, Hindaun in Karauli district. In Kota, Baran, Sawai Madhopur, Dholpur, Karauli, Bhilwara, Bundi, Bharatpur, Pratapgarh, Tonk and Alwar districts, 50 towns and rural areas received 1 to 3 inches of rain. According to the Meteorological Department, this round of rain can continue for the whole day in the eastern part of Rajasthan.

During last 24 hours, 130MM in Sapotra, Karauli, 122 in Hindaun, 107 in Karauli city. 82 in Bharatpur, 82 in Baran city, 81 in Mangraul, 53 in Bhilwara city, 63 in Bijolia, 63 in Bharatpur city, Kota K Khatauli 44, Sangod 59, Dingod 33, Chechat 29. Sawai Madhopur's Chauth Ka Barwada 39, Khandar 58, Baunli 16, Malarna Dungar 29, Gangapur City 54, Bamanwas 30, Bundi 48. Chittorgarh 20, Kotkasim 57 in Alwar, Kathumar has received 51. Jaipur's Narena 42, Sambhar 40, Churu 2.9, Sikar 6 and Udaipur 1.4 mm of rain.

This rain is beneficial and harmful for farmers

Due to this rain the quality of millet, maize and moong grains will deteriorate. On the other hand, this rain is not good for the farmers who have sown the Rabi crops like mustard and gram 4-5 days back. For those farmers who are waiting to sow Rabi crops, it is like the nectar of rain. Sowing will be good if there is moisture in the fields. Along with this, this rain is also beneficial for the farmers who have sown 10-15 days in Kota, Baran, Bundi belt.
