The marriage of Muslim youth and young women with non-Muslims has been declared illegal in the Shariat by the All India Muslim Personal Law Board. Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, Acting General Secretary of the Board said that Muslim girls can only marry a Muslim boy. Similarly, a Muslim boy cannot marry a Mushrik (polytheistic) nikah. If there is a marriage with a non-Muslim, then it will not be valid according to the Shariat.
In the guidelines issued by the Muslim Personal Law Board, it has been said that parents should make arrangements for the religious education of their children. Keep a close watch on the mobile phones of boys and girls etc. Try to educate girls in girl's schools as much as possible.
The board said that usually the list of names of boys or girls getting married is already issued in the registry office. Religious organizations, institutions, teachers of madrassas go to their homes with the dignitaries and explain.
