Indian oil companies have increased the prices of petrol and diesel. On Tuesday, the price of diesel has increased by 32 paise and petrol by 26 paise per liter in Jaipur. After this, a liter of petrol in Jaipur has reached Rs 109 55 paise, while diesel has reached Rs 100 at 42 paise per liter. Which is the highest ever in history.

Rising prices of crude oil

Worldwide crude oil prices have started rising once again. As a result of this, Brent crude, the benchmark of crude oil, has crossed the level of $ 79 per barrel. Crude oil has reached a record high of 3 years. Earlier in September 2018, it had reached $80. In such a situation, due to the increase in the price of crude oil, the prices of petrol and diesel may increase further in the coming days.

Anuj Gupta, Vice President (Commodity & Currency), IIFL Securities says that due to increased demand for crude oil, it can go up to $ 80 in the coming days. Due to this, the price of petrol and diesel can increase by 2 to 3 rupees.

Petrol in 26 states and diesel crosses 100 in 6 states

Petrol has reached Rs 100 per liter in 26 states of the country. Petrol in all districts of Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Manipur, Nagaland, Pondicherry, Telangana, Punjab, Sikkim, Orissa, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Tripura, and Madhya Pradesh 100 Above Rs.

When it comes to diesel

At the same time, in many places in Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal, and Uttarakhand, petrol is beyond Rs 100 a liter. On the other hand, when it comes to diesel, it is still above Rs 100 per liter in many places in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Telangana, and Madhya Pradesh.
