Phone Tapping Case: Chief Whip Mahesh Joshi Summoned by Delhi Crime Branch on June 24

Controversy seems to be deepening again in Rajasthan's phone tapping case. The Delhi Crime Branch has intensified the investigation on the FIR of Union Water Resources Minister Gajendra Singh. Delhi Crime Branch has issued a notice to Government Chief Whip Mahesh Joshi and called for questioning on June 24 at 11 am. He has been called for questioning at Prashant Vihar office of Delhi Crime Branch Rohini. Delhi Crime Branch Inspector Satish Malik has issued a notice. At the same time, Joshi said that the notice has not been read yet. I can say something only after reading.

Last year, during the revolt of the Sachin Pilot camp, the Rajasthan government was accused of phone tapping. An FIR was registered by the Delhi Police on March 25 after a complaint by Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. In the FIR, Gajendra Singh accused of tapping the phones of public representatives and maligning their image. Shekhawat accused unknown police officers including Lokesh Sharma, OSD to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in the FIR. The Delhi Crime Branch has now included Mahesh Joshi, expanding the scope of investigation in this case.

Mahesh Joshi had got FIR done in ACB and SOG

Mahesh Joshi had filed an FIR in SOG and ACB on the basis of leaked phone calls after the revolt of the Sachin Pilot camp last year. Mahesh Joshi had also recorded his statement in ACB and SOG regarding this. In which he said that the audio clip has the voice of MLA Bhanwarlal Sharma. He knows that voice very well.

CM's OSD got relief from High Court till 6th August

Lokesh Sharma had recently moved the Delhi High Court regarding the FIR lodged in the Crime Branch. The court gave the next hearing till August 6 and asked the crime branch not to take any action till then.

Delhi Crime Branch will now call many leaders and officers for questioning

After getting the notice to Mahesh Joshi, now the Delhi Crime Branch can also call some Congress leaders, officers for questioning. It is believed that many leaders who handled the management of the Gehlot government will be given a notice of inquiry. Many police officers can also be called for questioning by giving notice.
