Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil statue in Lucknow on December 25, the birthday of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. A three-day ceremony will also be held in Lucknow on the birth anniversary of the former Prime Minister. Prime Minister Modi will reach the capital on the last day of the ceremony and inaugurate the statue of Atal at Lok Bhavan and also lay the foundation stone of Atal Bihari Medical University.
Dr. YP Singh, Joint Director of Culture Department told, "Prime Minister Modi will reach Lucknow by special plane at around 3 pm on 25 December and will directly go to Lok Bhavan, where he will unveil the statue of Atal Bihari. There will also be a 25-minute address by the Prime Minister. Governor Anandi Ben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present during this period. The Prime Minister will leave for Delhi at around 4 pm.
YP Singh said that on December 23, there will be a recitation of 51 poems of Atal by the Department of Culture. The next day on December 24, there will be a seminar on nationalism. RSS member Rakesh Sinha and Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma will also be present in the seminar. The function will be presided over by the Speaker Hriday Narayan Dixit. The National Poets Conference will be held on 25 December on the last day of the ceremony.
