Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will visit the Line of Actual Control (LAC) area amid the ongoing tension along the border with China. The Defense Minister will visit Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh on a two-day tour, where he will also go to the LoC along with the LAC.

On July 18, Rajnath Singh will go to the LAC area

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will reach Leh on July 17, from here he will go to the LoC area. Where he will take stock of the preparations on the Pakistan border. After this, on July 18, Rajnath Singh will go to the LAC area, where China will take stock of the border situation.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has held a meeting with the Army Chief, Chief of Defense Staff in Delhi several times before and has reviewed the situation on the border. The tension on the border had increased since the martyrdom of twenty soldiers on 15 June.

Recently, on the basis of the agreement between the armies of the two countries, the work of removing the forces from the border is going on. The Chinese army has retreated from Galwan, Pangong area and had asked its troops to go back about two-two km.

PM Modi met army personnel at Neemu Post and gave a strong message to China. It was said by the PM that now the era of expansionism is over and now the era of developmentalism is going on.
