The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested husband Rajaram Gurjar, husband of Dr. Somya Gurjar, the suspended mayor of Jaipur Municipal Corporation Greater. Rajaram was called for questioning at the headquarters on Tuesday morning. After this, a case was registered and arrest was made. This whole matter is about the bargaining of a deal to pay a commission of Rs 20 crores instead of paying 276 crores to the BVG company that cleans the city. Whose video and audio of the game of this deal went viral on social media on June 10.
A case under the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 2018 and 120B IPC has been registered against BVG Company's representative Sandeep Choudhary and Nimbaram and others who played a role in the bribery deal. Nimbaram has been a regional supporter of the North-Western region of the RSS.
ACB had taken cognizance of the viral video. On the instructions of ACB DG BL Soni, ACB registered a preliminary complaint and the investigation was handed over to Additional SP Bajrang Singh Shekhawat. After this, the ACB called mayor's husband Rajaram Gurjar to the ACB headquarters for questioning after around 10 am on Tuesday. After that, he was arrested in the afternoon.

Apart from this, the name of an IAS was also revealed in a viral audio conversation between Rajaram Gurjar and a representative of the BVG company. I am talking according to the rules. Let's say 5 crores cut, 10 crores cut, 15 crores cut, or 50 crores whatever. You release the payment. In 6 months, in a year, whatever the payment will be.

In the same video, representatives of BVG company are seen saying that the penalty that has to be levied will be levied but get the full payment released in 6 months. Meanwhile, Mayor's husband Rajaram refuses to pay the payment in the name of the cheque in the deal.
