Its purpose is to tell people how they can preserve their light by saving their eyes showing images of the bright world…

This is how the signs of illness are seen

Eye pressure, Feeling tired, Not seeing distant or near objects clearly, Dryness in the eyes, Poor vision in low light, Pain in the eye, Blurred vision, redness, and watery eyes, Itchy eyes, and Being jealous and seeing the same thing are two signs of danger.

Don't bother to ignore

Dr. Praveen Vashisht, Officer-in-Charge, Community Ophthalmology, AIIMS, New Delhi, says that people in the country do not take eye problems seriously. A white cataract is the cause of blindness in 65 to 66 percent of the people in the country, which is avoidable. Over 40 years of study, we have found that 12 to 13 out of 100 children in cities are in need of glasses. In rural areas, this rate is eight percent. Children's eyes are neither examined on time nor glasses are worn.

Corneal blindness can be caused by a serious eye infection, injury, or nutritional deficiencies. These patients can get new light only through eye transplants. There is a need for two lakh eye donations every year in the country. But 50 to 60 thousand eye donations take place every year. Of this, only 40 percent are transplantable.

Dr. Vashistha explains that 80 percent of the cases of low vision in the world are there, which can be corrected with glasses. Every year about 50,000 babies are born blind. Eye problems can be cured with a good diet and treatment. In black cataracts, glaucoma vision is not regained.

Need to improve eyesight in children

Dr. Shruti Wasnik, an ophthalmologist at Mumbai's Kokila Ben Hospital, says, 41 percent of children under the age of 18 in the country need vision correction, but parents ignore it. 42 percent of employees and over 45 percent of the elderly ignore visual impairment. Dr. Shruti says that screen time has increased manifold.

In such a situation, everyone should adopt the 20-20-20 formula for the health of the eyes. If working on a computer, laptop, mobile then get up every 20 minutes and look 20 feet away for 20 seconds. This will reduce the pressure on the eyes. If there is dryness or irritation in the eyes, then artificial tear drops can be applied.

Eyes disorder Increase due to epidemic

Professor of Ophthalmology Department of SMS Medical College, Jaipur. Kishore Kumar points out that increasing screen time has increased the number of eye patients. In a report, it has come to the fore that the eyesight of 27.5 crore people has been weakened in the epidemic. Diabetics are the most affected. According to Dr. Kishore, children of 4 to 5 years are not able to tell about the problem. In such a situation, if the child is repeatedly rubbing eyes, there is redness in the eye, water is coming, reading or writing with a book close, then parents should be alert.
