China Increases its Defence Budget by 7.1% to $ 230 Billion

Talking about China's defence budget, according to the state-run newspaper China Daily, the National People's Congress (NPC) presented the draft of the budget on Saturday in which it was told that the Chinese government has proposed a defence budget of 1.45 trillion yuan for the fiscal year 2022, which is 7.1 percent more than the previous year. With this unaccounted money, China will be equipped with new weapons.
Three times than the defence budget of India
At the same time, after this increase, the defence budget of China has increased three times than the defence budget of India. Significantly, India's defence budget is currently around $ 70 billion which is much less than China. In this year i.e. 2022-23, India has spent 5.25 lakh crores in the total defence budget. Whereas, in the year 2021-22, the total defence budget of the country was 4.78 lakh crores. However, India has also increased the defence budget this year, but it is much less than China.
