In Mahim Suitcase Murder case Police said that the Main Accused is a Minor

On Sunday, the local court asked the police to present it before the Juvenile Justice Board. Police are considering getting her medical done to determine her age.

The Mumbai Crime Branch has made a new disclosure in the Mahim suitcase murder case. According to police, the girl accused of killing 59-year-old Bennett Rebelo is a minor. Earlier, her age was being told as 19 years.

According to the police, according to her birth certificate and Aadhaar card, she was born on 21 July 2002. According to this, her age is 17 years and six months. On Sunday, the local court asked the police to present it before the Juvenile Justice Board. Police are considering getting her medical done to determine her age.

On December 2, some pieces of composer Bennett Rebelo's body were found in a suitcase behind the Mahim Dargah. The body was identified by the police with the help of the label on his clothes. Five days later, the crime branch arrested the girl with her 16-year-old friend. During interrogation, it was revealed that both of them had sliced Rebelo's body in three suitcases and washed them into the river. The girl describes Rebelo's as his Godfather.
