On July 8, members of the Indian community in Canada's Toronto organised a rally in response to a pro-Khalistani protest outside the Indian consulate.

Khalistani supporters waved their flags outside the embassy, while the Indian community mounted a counter-demonstration, flying the Indian Tricolour and sending a clear message.

ANI released a video of Khalistani supporters waving Khalistani flags on one side of the road. The video also shows a person wearing a turban disrespecting the national flag.

Outside the Indian embassy, people of the Indian diaspora held a counter-protest, waving the Indian national flag and brandishing a poster that read, "Khalistanis are not Sikhs."

Protests and Charges Levelled Against the Khalistan Movement

Indians in Canada shouted slogans like "Jai Bharat Mata" and "Vande Mataram."

The Khalistani organisation displayed posters of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, the head of the SFJ (Sikhs for Justice), who was assassinated on June 18 in Surrey, British Columbia. The posters accused India of carrying out the assassination.

Nijjar was charged with terrorism-related offences after Indian authorities identified him as the leader of the Khalistan Tiger Force.

Canadian Khalistanis began their protest by erecting a banner overnight at a Hindu temple in Brampton, Ontario, declaring the region a "War Zone." The billboard singled out top Indian diplomats in Canada as the "faces of Shaheed Nijjar's killing in Canada."

According to authorities, the 'Kill India Rally' was led by Khalistani terrorists Gurupatwant Singh Pannu and Paramjit Singh Pamma, who are accused of getting funds from Pakistan's spy agency, ISI.

Pro-Khalistan Rally Targets Indian Envoys

Approximately 250 pro-Khalistani demonstrators gathered across the street from the building that houses India's consulate, with a specific focus on India's senior envoys in Canada.

The pro-Khalistan crowd attempted to break through the barricade and confront the pro-India crowd.

Khalistani followers in London, Australia, and Canada held a rally on Saturday named the 'Kill India Rally.' The London march was led by Khalistani terrorist Paramjit Singh Pamma, who is presently on the run from Indian authorities.

A small group of demonstrators gathered outside the Indian High Commission in London in response to a summons by Khalistani organisations, with a noticeable police presence during the rally.

The event, which had divisive placards advocating violence against Indian High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswami and Dr Shashank Vikram, Consul General of India in Birmingham, drew a small crowd.
