Schools of the Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) organization had given the best results in the 12th of the CBSE board this year. Immediately after the results, gratuity and other benefits have been discontinued for the NPS (National Pension System) teachers teaching in KVS. KV progressive teacher organization has declared an unfair decision.

KVS Teachers will not Get the Benefit of the National Pension System

In this year, 98.54 percent of the students were passed in the KV schools. Clearly, the KVS affiliates have had a big role behind the good results. But on Thursday the letter from Assistant Commissioner Finance of KVS has broken the heart of a large number of teachers.

According to the letter, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has now stopped the facilities of death, retirement and provisional family pension of NPS (National Pension) holders. It has been stated in the letter that according to CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972, until now the advance order, all these benefits will not be given to NPS holders of KVS. This decision by the KVS has anger among NPS holders. Many teachers have also written about this decision on social media. They have written on social media that they have got this result for given a good result.

If the people connected with KVS believe that there are a large number of teachers associated with the National Pension System since 2004, this decision by the KVS administration will greatly harm these teachers. Meanwhile, KVS organization's Additional Commissioner, UN Khwade, says the decision has been taken on the guidelines of HRD. The KVS administration has taken the decision of taking the letter of MHRD incognizance.

Priyavrat Chikhara, National General Secretary of KV PSS (Central School Progressive Teachers Association) says that the letter to our 25 regions were sent on May 16. The letter said that those employees who fall under the National Pension System, we will not give them the benefit of retirement and death gratuity. We oppose it directly. This time CBSE teachers have given the best result. Teachers also take classes in choirs. The organization of such dictatorship decree opposes. As soon as the new government is formed, we will write to them and demand that this facility should not be taken. At the same time, we get the bonus of Diwali for the last three-four years and even start giving it.

These will not be affected

However, teachers before 2004 get Old Pension Scheme which will not be affected, if there is retire or dies in the middle, their family will receive gratuity.
