MCI Increased 400 New MBBS Seats In Odisha

The race for admission in MBBS has already started. National Eligibility Low Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 and JIPMER results have been declared. Awaiting counseling. In such a situation, good news has come for the students who want to enter medical college. Medical Council of India (MCI) has increased medical seats of 400 seats in Odisha. Now the number of MBBS seats in Odisha has increased to 1150.

According to sources, seats have been increased in Shaheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital Koraput, Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College, and Hospital, Baripara, Bhim Bhoi Medical College and Hospital Balangir and Fakir Mohan Medical College and Hospital, Balasore. All colleges have got admission in 100 seats.

In these colleges, these seats will be admitted from the same academic session (2019-20). However, the Medical Council of India (MCI) has given admission permission only for this academic session. To get admission in the next session MCI will have to get renewal permission.
