In Pakistan, the prices of food and drink and items used in daily life are skyrocketing these days, due to which a lot of anger is being seen among the people.

According to the ARY report, Imran Khan blamed the previous governments for the worsening situation due to inflation in the country. He said on Thursday that the biggest weakness of the present government has been that it could not fix responsibility on the previous governments. The Prime Minister of Pakistan said that his government has done good work for the betterment of the people but it has not been able to convey its achievements properly.

Inflation in Pakistan has remained high for a long time, it is not decreasing. Food items have spoiled the budget of the households. People are directly blaming the Imran government for inflation. According to the report of Dawn News, most of the families are spending half their money on food items. The burden of transport, petrol, electricity and indirect taxes has become so much that it is feared that the country may have to face hunger, poverty and malnutrition in the coming days.

Not even clean drinking water is available for people

The World Bank estimates that in the year 2020, poverty in Pakistan has increased from 4.4 percent to 5.4 percent and about two million people have come below the poverty line. The Imran government is not able to provide even clean water for the people of the country to drink. In the data presented by the Tehreek-e-Insaf government in the National Assembly, it has been told that clean drinking water is not available to the people in major major cities of the country.
