The tensions between North Korea and South Korea continue to grow. According to the reports, North Korea has blown up an inter-Korean liaison office. North Korea, ruled by King Jong Un, is reported to have threatened to return to areas that have been declared civilian areas under the Inter-Korean Peace Agreement. Explosions have been observed in the area adjacent to the Kaesong Industrial Park.

The industrial park was established jointly with South Korea but has been closed amid tensions between the two rivals. A liaison office was also created here with the aim of maintaining relations between Seoul and Pyongyang. It is believed that it has been blown.

Earlier, on Tuesday, the North Korean military threatened to return to areas that have been declared civilian areas under the Inter-Korean Peace Agreement. North Korea has continued to pressurize its arch-rivals South Korea since the nuclear talks halted with the US Donald Trump administration.

The General Staff of the Korean People's Army said the military was reviewing the ruling party's recommendations to move forward into unspecified border areas that were made civilian areas after the agreement with South Korea.

Earlier, Kim YoJong, sister of Kim Jong Un has also said that the inter-Korean liaison office lying unoccupied in the border area in Kaesong should be dismantled and the enemy should make further decisions with South Korea.

North Korea has in recent months scrapped all forms of cooperation with South Korea, saying that the nuclear deal with Washington is not progressing. South Korea's President Moon Jae-in said on Monday that North Korea should stop promoting hostilities and negotiate and no one should back out of the peace deal.
