The list of its Star Campaigners released by the Janata Dal United (JDU) is missing the names of the National Vice President of the party Prashant Kishor and Pawan Verma. Prashant Kishore and Pawan Verma have been marginalized in JDU for some time. According to the information, JDU has released a list of 20 star campaigners for the Delhi Assembly elections. These include many big names including party supremo and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and National General Secretary KC Tyagi. Names of Ashok Chaudhary, Lalan Singh, RCP Singh, Vashisht Narayan Singh, Kavita Singh and Sunil Kumar Pintu etc. are also included in the list.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the largest constituent of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), has left three seats for its allies Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) and Janata Dal United (JDU) in the Delhi Assembly elections. Of these, LJP has got one and JDU has got two seats. JDU has announced to field Dr. SCL Gupta from Sangam Vihar and Shailendra Kumar from Burari. Dr. Gupta has been a former BJP MLA, while Shailendra Kumar is the brother-in-law of Patna District Collector Kumar Ravi. On the other hand, LJP has got the seat of Seemapuri, on which it has not announced the name of its candidate.

Sanjay Kumar Jha, a minister in the Bihar government, is overseeing the JDU's election work in Delhi. There is voting on February 8. The election results will come on 11 February.
