TMC Compensated the Families of Those Killed During Protest Against CAA in Mangaluru

On December 19 in Mangaluru, two people were killed in violence during protests against the Citizenship Act (CAA).

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) delegation today paid a compensation of Rs 5-5 lakh to the families of these two people. The delegation, led by senior leader Dinesh Trivedi, reached Mangaluru today.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, while addressing a rally on Thursday in protest against the Citizenship Act in West Bengal, said that a TMC delegation would visit the families of those killed during the violence in Mangaluru and give them compensation.
