Hyundai will launch 8 cars in India in between 2021-2023. These include Palisade, Kona Electric 2021, Elantra 2021, Nexo, Ionic. These 8 upcoming cars include 6 SUVs, 2 convertibles, 2 sedans, 2 hybrids and 1 MUV. Three of these cars are expected to be launched in the next three months.

1. New variants of Hyundai Venue launched

South Korean vehicle maker Hyundai Motors has made changes in the variants of the popular compact SUV Hyundai Venue. Hyundai is going to discontinue 5 variants including two base variants of the Venue lineup in India. Now the company is bringing two new variants in the Venue lineup.

Discontinued Old Variants and Launched New variants

Hyundai has dropped the base E 1.5 diesel MT and S 1.5 diesel MT diesel variants from the Venue line-up. The petrol variants that have been discontinued include S 1.0 Petrol iMT, S 1.0 Petrol DCT, and SX(O) 1.0 Petrol MT. Apart from this, Hyundai has added two new variants S (O) and SX (O) Executive to the Venue line-up.

  • The S (O) trim is mated to three engine-gearbox options – 1.0-litre petrol in iMT and DCT gearboxes and 1.5-litre diesel in MT gearboxes.

Price of 2 new variants

The starting ex-showroom price of the new line-up of Hyundai Venue is now Rs 6.92 lakh, which goes up to Rs 11.61 lakh. The Venue S (O) Turbo iMT has priced at Rs 9.04 lakh, while the S(O) Turbo DCT is priced at Rs 9.94 lakh. At the same time, the price of S (O) diesel is Rs 9.45 lakh, and the price of SX (O) Diesel Executive has been kept at Rs 10.97 lakh.

5 Variants Discontinued

A total of five variants of the Hyundai Venue have been discontinued. The company has discontinued the line-up base E 1.5 MT and S 1.5 MT in the diesel variants. At the same time, three variants S 1.0 iMT, S 1.0 DCT and SX (O) 1.0 MT have been discontinued in the petrol engine.

2. Hyundai Alcazar: Country's second 7 seater SUV launched
