The NCB custody of Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan in the drugs and rave party case on a cruise going from Mumbai to Goa ends on Thursday. Now in this case he will get relief from custody today or its time will increase, it will be decided in a court in Mumbai today. It is reported that a petition will be filed in the court on behalf of his lawyer for Aryan Khan's bail.
The NCB had told the court on October 4 that Aryan Khan used to chat with drug peddlers in codewords and that custody was necessary to decode it. Several chats have indicated his connections with drug peddlers.
The NCB further told the court that the chat clearly shows that it is a nexus and there has been an international transaction for it. The accused have used the codeword to deal with drug peddlers. In such a situation, the accused need to be interrogated face to face in remand.
According to media reports, Aryan Khan's lawyer Satish Manshinde said that Aryan was called as a special guest and he went there with a friend. He was not given a penny to go on the cruise and neither did he know any organizer. He has also denied the news of Aryan Khan knowing the paddler. Along with this, he has accused NCB of making a case only on WhatsApp chat, while he has not recovered anything from my client.
Let us inform that Aryan Khan's name in the drug case first came to the fore when eight people, including Aryan, were detained during a raid on a cruise ship bound for Goa on October 2. During this, all were kept in custody for more than 22 hours on 3 October and they were interrogated. Aryan and two others were formally arrested a day later.
