UP Elections 2022: Asaduddin Owaisi Raises Demand for Making Bundelkhand a Separate State

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) National President Asaduddin Owaisi addressed an election meeting in Banda on Saturday. During this, the need for a separate Bundelkhand state was emphasized. He said that till the SP-BJP is not wiped out from Bundelkhand, it will not be a separate state. Voting is to be cast based on hope, not on the basis of fear.
AIMIM Asaduddin Owaisi held a public meeting of Bhagidari Parivartan Morcha and Jan Adhikar Party near the mosque located on Kartal Marg in Naraini, Banda and at GIC ground. During his speech, he targeted PM Modi, raising the hijab issue going on in Karnataka. Owaisi said- If you love Muslim women, then allow Muslim girls of Karnataka to wear hijab.
Owaisi told the public that ‘Everyone has voted, now make a leader from amongst yourself, Divorce Baba and Akhilesh’. 50% of the youth in this sector do not have work. They are forced to go abroad. The BSP, SP and BJP, which have so far run the government in the state, had taken votes from the people by promising to run the rice mills that were closed here. Till today the mill could not be started. There is no water available to the farmers to irrigate the fields and to drink.

Owaisi took a jibe at the Triple Talaq Law and said that when the husband comes out of jail after serving two years, his wife will play the baaja in front of the jail- 'Baharon Phool barsao, mera chor shauhar jail se aaya hai.' Owaisi said that sometimes you made sister Mayawati and sometimes two Yadav chief ministers. Rajnath Singh and Kalyan Singh became CM but Baba became the CM by mistake. Jan Adhikar Party chief Babu Singh Kushwaha said that BJP seeks votes in the name of Hindutva. Backwards and Muslims are not visible in the share. The share in the government should be fixed according to the population.
