According to the reports, Australia's proposed tour of England comprising of 3-match T20 series and 3-match ODI series will begin from September amid coronavirus epidemic. According to media reports, the tour may begin with the first T20 match on 4 September. The Australian players will arrive in England from the private plane and will have to remain in isolation for 14 days.
According to media reports, the three-match T20 series between England and Australia will be held on 4, 6, and 8 September respectively. After this, there will be three ODIs on September 10, 12 and 15 respectively. All 6 matches can be played at Southampton and Manchester's Bio-Secure Stadium.
The 3-match Test series between England and West Indies is currently being played at both these stadiums. With this series, international cricket has also resumed after 117 days later. After this, the England team will play three Test matches against Pakistan and as many T20 matches also in these two stadiums.
Recently, Cricket Australia (CA) has also announced a 26-man squad for the England tour. All-rounder Glenn Maxwell and opener Usman Khawaja made a comeback in the team after a year. Maxwell and Khawaja last played in 2019 World Cup in July. Apart from these, uncapped players like Daniel Sams, Riley Meredith, Josh Phillip have also been included in the team. While, Peter Handscomb, Shaun Marsh and Nathan Coulter Nile have not found a place in the team.
