Transport Minister Yashpal Arya along with his son Nainital MLA Sanjeev Arya joined the Congress in New Delhi on Monday. Let us tell you that Yashpal was the Social Welfare Minister and Transport Minister in the Uttarakhand government. However, both the leaders joined the Congress in the presence of former CM Harish Rawat, State in-charge Devendra Yadav, Congress State Committee State President Ganesh Godiyal, National General Secretary-Organization KC Venugopal, National Spokesperson Randeep Surjewala.
Social Welfare Minister Yashpal Arya is the MLA from Bazpur. At the same time, his son Sanjeev Arya was elected MLA from the Nainital assembly seat last time. However, both had left Congress in 2017.
