Yash Chopra was the brother of famous filmmaker BR Chopra. When the partition happened, Yash had to come to Mumbai to be with his brother. It is said that Yash Chopra's father had a dream to become an engineer but luck had something else for him. He became interested in films like his brother and started assisting him in directing films with BR Chopra. He made everyone from Amitabh Bachchan to Shahrukh Khan a hero in films. He made the film 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' with Shahrukh and announced that this would be his last film. After this, he suddenly died and it became the last film of his career.
