BSNL: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has recently launched two new prepaid monthly recharge plans. The first plan cost Rs. 228 which includes an unlimited voice calling offer and 2GB of daily data among other benefits. The other plan cost Rs. 239 which includes Rs. 10 Talktime in addition to unlimited voice calling and 2GB of data per day among other benefits. These new plans will be available for the users from Friday, July 1. According to the report, BSNL's plan is giving head-to-head competition to Jio, Vi, and Airtel who already have prepaid plans in this price range.
According to the report by TelecomTalk, both Rs. 228 and Rs. 239 monthly prepaid plans will include unlimited voice calling, 2GB data per day with the speed of about 80kbps post exhausting 2GB data, and 100 SMS each day.
While the BSNL Rs. 228 plan includes the Challenges Arena Mobile Gaming Service on the Progressive Web App for subscribers, the Rs. 239 plan includes an additional Rs. 10 in Talktime on recharge. The BSNL website displays an Rs. 229 monthly plan with the same features as the Rs. 228 plan cited in the article.
In comparison, Vi is offering Rs.239 and Rs. 249 recharge plan that gives the benefit of unlimited Talktime as well as 1GB and 1.5GB daily data, respectively.
The Rs. 239 plan has a validity period of 24 days, while the Rs. 249 plan has a validity period of 21 days. Airtel has an Rs. 239 prepaid package that includes unlimited Talktime and 1GB of data each day for 24 days. Jio, on the other hand, has more prepaid recharge plans in this pricing range.
There is an Rs. 222 plan that includes 2GB of data per day and unlimited calling for 28 days, and Rs. 239 plan that includes 1.5GB of data per day for 28 days, and a Rs. 249 prepaid plan that includes 2GB of data per day for 23 days.
