AI research company OpenAI has rolled out the voice feature for all users on its chatbot 'ChatGPT'. Through this feature ChatGPT will be able to talk to you in its own voice. The company brought this feature in September, but initially it was available only for Plus and Enterprise subscribers.
Now all users will be able to use their voice to ask questions, receive feedback, and engage in ongoing conversations on ChatGPIT. Apps of both Android and iOS operating systems will be able to use this feature. The monthly subscription of Plus in India is Rs 1,999.
OpenAI announced this in a post on X (previously Twitter) and also shared a video. In that the company has shown how users can use the voice feature.
Users can download the app on their phones and start a conversation by tapping on the headphone icon.
The new voice feature allows back-and-forth conversations with ChatGPT.
It starts with the user asking a question and the conversation can be ended manually or by stopping speaking.
ChatGPT answers questions and allows uninterrupted conversations.
On the other hand, the team at OpenAI is facing challenges due to the sudden removal of its CEO Sam Altman and ongoing talks for his return.
