During the Lok Sabha elections, the general public has suffered a major setback on the inflation front. In fact, the price of non-subsidized LPG cylinders in Delhi and Mumbai has risen by 6 rupees. Apart from this, the prices of subsidized cylinders in these two cities have increased by 0.28 paise and 0.29 paise respectively.
After this increase, the new price of non-subsidized LPG cylinder (14.2 kg) in Delhi has gone upto Rs. 712.50. At the same time, the new price in Mumbai is 684.50 rupees. Similarly, the new price of subsidized cylinders (14.2 kg) in both cities has been increased to Rs 496.14 and Rs 493.86.
11 Rupees Increased in 1 month
The price of non-subsidized 14.2 kg LPG cylinder has increased by 11 rupees in 1 month. Actually, on April 1, the price of non-subsidized cylinders was increased by 5 rupees. This was the second increase in the rate of LPG on the difference of one month. Earlier, on March 1, the price of cylinders was increased to 42.5 rupees per cylinder.
Let us tell you that consumers get 12 cylinders in a year at subsidized prices. If they require more cylinders, they have to take non-subsidized cylinders.
Petrol-Diesel Prices can also increased
It is feared that the price of petrol and diesel could be increased in the coming days due to the war between the crude oil in the international market. However, there was no change in prices of petrol and diesel on Wednesday. Prior to this, oil companies had increased the price of petrol by 5 paisa a liter, while the increase in diesel price was 5-6 paise a liter.
According to IndianOil website, the prices of petrol in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai remained unchanged at Rs 73.13, Rs 75.15, Rs 78.70 and Rs 75.90 per liter, respectively. Diesel prices were priced at Rs 66.71, Rs 68.45, Rs 69.83 and Rs 70.44 per liter respectively in all the metros.
