Smartphone maker company Motorola has today launched the Edge 40 Neo smartphone. The company claims that this is the world's lightest smartphone. It comes with IP68 underwater protection, which means the phone will not get damaged even after being immersed in water.
The company has launched the device in two storage variants in the Indian market. Its base variant 8GB RAM + 128GB is priced at Rs 23,999 and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model is priced at Rs 25,999.
In the launch offer, the smartphone is available for limited time for Rs 20,999 for the base model and Rs 22,999 for the top model. Apart from this, extra exchange bonus of Rs 1000 and instant bank discount will also be available.
The sale of the device will start on September 28 at 7 pm on e-commerce website Flipkart, Motorola's official website and retail stores. The smartphone is available in three colors like Canal Bay, Beauty Black and Soothing Sea. These also have vegan leather back panel.
Display: Motorola Edge 40 Neo has a 6.55 inch Full HD + pOLED display with a pixel resolution of 2400×1080, which works at 144Hz refresh rate. Its screen to body ratio is 87.70% and aspect ratio is 20:9.
Hardware and Software: For performance, the phone has been provided with MediaTek Dimension 7030 processor working at 2.5ghz. Along with this, Mali-G610 MC1 GPU is available for graphics. The phone works on the out-of-the-box Android 13 operating system.
Camera: For photography, dual camera setup with LED flash is provided on the rear panel of the phone. It includes a 50MP primary camera and a 13MP ultra wide angle camera. At the same time, a 16MP front camera with punch hole design has been provided for selfie and video calling.
Battery: Talking about battery, the device has a 5000mAh battery and 68W fast charging technology.
Connectivity Options: For connectivity, the phone will have 15 5G bands, 4G, 3G, 2G, NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB Type C for charging along with in-display fingerprint.
