New Delhi, Business Desk: State-owned Punjab National Bank (PNB) on Monday announced the launch of a pre-qualified credit card facility along with several other features including insurance coverage. This facility will be available for those customers whose salary account is in PNB.
Punjab National Bank said in a statement that customers will be able to apply for this through the mobile banking app PNB One, the website, or Internet Banking Service (IBS). The bank will offer this credit card under the Rupay and Visa program.
PNB's pre-qualified credit card facility will currently be available for those customers who are employed and whose salary comes from PNB itself. Customers can apply for this by visiting the bank's website. After providing the PAN card and account number details, the customer's eligibility will be verified by the bank and on that basis, it will be determined whether the card can be issued to him or not.
Apart from this, PNB has also introduced a new facility of Overdraft Against FD in its mobile banking application. Under this, customers can avail of the loan without visiting the bank branch. There will also be a concession of 0.25 percent on the interest rate for applying through a digital platform like PNB One.
Speaking on the occasion, Atul Kumar Goel, MD & CEO, PNB said that PNB's new pre-qualified credit card service is a completely digital, consent-based, and paperless credit card application process.
In this, the customers can avail of many other attractive features in addition to the card such as reward points, comprehensive insurance coverage, complimentary domestic and international lounge access, health check, complimentary golf, spa, gym sessions, higher credit limit, and many more Much more and that too in one click.
He added, “I am also excited about the introduction of overdraft facility against FD on PNB One, as it further adds to our digital product. I am very much looking forward to both the products as they meet the needs of the masses."
Let us inform you that Punjab National Bank has implemented many reforms in recent times. PNB is also conducting an electronic auction (e-auction) for the mortgaged properties on August 25. The bidders may log on to the e-sale portal (https://ibapi.in) to participate in the e-auction.
