Royal Enfield has announced the prices of the flagship cruiser Super Meteor-650 bike in the Indian market. The company unveiled this bike in November 2022. This bike has been launched in Astral, Interstellar and Celestial variants. Its starting price is Rs 3 lakh 48 thousand 900, which goes up to Rs 3 lakh 78 thousand 900 in the top variant. It is the heaviest bike of Royal Enfield. Its weight is 241 kg.
Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is the third model of the company which is based on 650cc platform. It is powered by the same 648cc parallel-twin 4-stroke engine that powers the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. The bike generates maximum power of 47 ps at 7,250 rpm and peak torque output of 52 Nm at 5,650 rpm.
Slipper clutch assist 6 speed gearbox has been added with its engine. At the same time, the capacity of its fuel tank is 15.7 liters. Royal Enfield has started booking the Super Meteor-650. The company will start its delivery from February 1.
There are 7 color options available in different variants of Super Meteor-650. Its Astral variant comes with Black, Blue and Green color options. At the same time, green and gray color options are available in the Interstellar variant. Apart from this, the Celestial variant is available in Red and Blue colors.
The new Super Meteor-650 has been given a cruiser design like the Meteor-350. However, the design of its head and side panels is slightly new and is of matte black color. The main feature of the bike is its riding position. The bike comes with fully foot-forward foot controls, low scalloped seat and wide pull-back handlebars. Royal Enfield claims that all these design changes will make the rider feel like they are a part of the bike.
The Super Meteor-650 features a steel tubular spine frame chassis. The bike has 43mm up-side down forks at the front and twin gas-charged shock absorber suspension system at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a 320mm disc at the front and a 300mm disc at the rear. The bike will get many accessories including bar end mirrors, deluxe footpegs, solo finisher, LED indicators, machined wheels, deluxe touring dual-seat, touring windscreen, passenger backrest, deluxe footpegs, longhaul panniers and touring handlebar.
