US markets closed with a fall on Tuesday. The Dow Jones was down 81.52 points at 34,312.50, down 0.24%. The Nasdaq was down 0.03% to close at 4.00 points at 13,657.20. The S&P 500 index was down 8.93 points at 4,188.12. Here, the French market closed down and the German market closed up.
According to provisional data on the NSE, on May 25, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth Rs 959.77 crore and domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought shares worth Rs 563.59 crore. The Sensex was down 14 points at 50,637 on Tuesday. However, the Nifty was up 10 points at 15,208.
